Hey guys.
We plan to kick off Cataclysm by appointing Officer positions to people Zak and I find have contributed to the guild in all its aspects (socially, raiding, event-planning etc).
If you would like more info on how to become an Officer please refer to Zak's POST
Role leaders and raid leaders will be appointed based on skill, attendance and contribution to helping their teammates do better at their own classes and correct raiding mistakes.
All of the above steps include an active presence on the forums. If you do not have that, I do not have an easy way of estimating how much presence and impact you have within the guild.
So start taking initiative, find a few recruits, set up some pre-mades, easy raids etc. Take charge of things and you'll probably be promoted.
IMPORTANT: One of the things I dislike seeing the most is people who log on only for a raid, only speak once during that raid and it's to say 'Spiked' and not socialize at all and make zero effort to be a part of, contribute to or initiate any other guild events other than simply showing up for a raid.
We are looking for a group of friends to enjoy the game with while progressing massively, not one-word robots that do well and then go away.
Officers will be prime examples of that.
